Ski Apache is America's southern-most major ski area, its where Ruidoso skis and our visitors enjoy New Mexico's only ski gondola and huge ski lift capacity of 16,500 skiers per hour. Ruidoso's Ski Apache boasts some of the best warm-weather powder skiing in the world, the slopes offer a nice mix of wide beginner slopes, tough bump runs, a huge bowl, nice cruising runs and a new Terrain Park appropriately named “'The Boneyard'” with jumps, tubes and rails. The skiing in Ruidoso, New Mexico is generally open, weather dependant, from Thanksgiving through Easter from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM including all Holidays!

Beginning skiers or snow boarders receive a FREE lift ticket with the purchase of any group lesson on their first day, excluding weekends. The Kiddie Korral facility is an all day ski instruction program for the four to six year olds, while the Ski School is for ages 7 and up.
